The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has confirmed four international friendly matches for the Black Stars as part of preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Ghana will be making their fifth appearance at the tournament, which will be hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico, having previously played at the Mundial in 2006, 2010, 2014 and last edition (2022).
The Black Stars will begin their preparations with a friendly against Austria on March 27 at the Ernst Happel Stadium in Vienna, with kickoff set for 17:00 GMT.
Three days later, the four-time African champions will relocate to Stuttgart to face four-time world champions Germany at the MHP Arena.
In May, head coach Otto Addo will lead the team into another warm-up game against North American giants Mexico, with details of the venue and kickoff time yet to be announced.
The final friendly will be played on June 2 against Wales at the Cardiff City Stadium.
Ghana head into the tournament hoping to improve on recent performances after exiting at the group stage in both the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil and the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Ghana has been drawn in Group L alongside 1966 champions England, 2018 finalists Croatia and Panama.
Otto Addo’s men will open their campaign against Panama on June 17 before facing England on June 23 and wrap up the group phase against Croatia on June 27.
