Coach Annor Walker's squad has been boosted with the return of two key players, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh and Danlad Ibrahim who just returned from the World Cup.
The two played an integral role in helping the home-based national team qualify for the 2022 CHAN after missing out in the last three editions.
The Black Galaxies have been camping at the Ghana Soccer Center of Excellence for over a month now looking to get themselves prepared for the tourney which is scheduled for early next year.
The 40 provisional man squad is still intact but will be trimmed down to the final list subsequently before the main tourney.
However, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh and Danlad Ibrahim all this while wasn't with the team, but were with the senior national team for the 2022 FIFA World Cup which is currently ongoing in Qatar.
Barnieh and Danlad will hope to add much to the team in their return which will be really malleable to the team.
The 2022 Championship of African Nations (CHAN) is scheduled for January 8, 2023 in Algeria.
Ghana is housed in Group H alongside holders Morocco, Sudan and Madagascar.
