Dreamz Ladies FC have been crowned champions of the 2024 edition of the Ghana Women's Premier Super Cup tournament after beating Ampem Darkoa Ladies by 2-1 in an epic final over the weekend in Prampram
The high-flying club staged a perfect revenge against the 'Nana Mma' girls who have always dominated them from last season including a 1-4 defeat in their opening game of this competition.
Dreamz opened the scoring account in the final through Sarah Nyarko on the 14th minute before Black Princesses skipper Stella Nyamekye doubled the lead subsequently from the spot with Victoria Banful getting the consolation goal for Ampem Darkoa.
The 'Still Believe' ladies finished third in the regular season in the Northern zone with 30 points, four adrift the eventual champions.
However, wins over the two giants; Ampem Darkoa Ladies and Hasaacas Ladies in this competition signifies how stronger the team has grown and will definitely set sights on nothing but the championship next season.
