Ghana won't play outside the country in next month's international window as reported earlier and will now host Sudan at the Cape Coast Stadium in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Couple of weeks ago, the Ghana FA confirmed the Baba Yara Stadium which has been the Black Stars favourite home grounds for over two years now has been rejected by CAF since it current state doesn't make it a standard facility.
This raised lots of discussions in the indigenous media with the Black Stars expected to play outside the country but looks like that isn't happening anymore.
This is because of the approval of the Cape Coast Stadium by CAF after their inspection team visited and checked the venue over the weekend including the Ohene Gyan Stadium in the capital, Accra.
The four-time African champions are finally returning to the Central Region's capital for the first time since June 2022 when they humbled Madagascar 3-0 in an AFCON qualifier.
Ghana will host Sudan in the first leg on Friday October 11, with the return encounter to be held in three days time.
