Ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, the Egyptian Football Association have deployed some scouts to monitor some of our key players in the senior national team,the Black Stars, according to the GFA Communication Director, Ibrahim Sannie Daara.
The Black Stars of Ghana were drawn in Group E to face Congo, Uganda and Egypt in the African zone of the qualifiers.
The Egyptian FA sees the West Africans as a side which could be of threat to their quest of qualifying to the tourney.
"They have sent out scouts to keep tabs on our boys" he told Muntie FM
"Their scouting machinery will be monitoring some of our players likes Andre Ayew, Christian Atsu, Frank Acheampong,Mubarak Wakaso, Baba Rahman and most of our outstanding players," he added.
Ghana will begin their campaign for the qualifying round in October this year.
