ZIFA Mourns With Ghana

The Zimbabwe Football Association has joined the world in mourning former G.FA boss, Mr.Ben Koufie.Kickgh has gathered.

The 84 year old sports legend passed on at the Korle Bu Teaching hospital on Monday with his demise serving as a blow to African football.

The former Coach served as a technical supervisor to the East Africans and President of the Association sent his message of condolences to the Ghana Football Association and the globe after hearing the news.

"The Zimbabwe Football Association has learnt with great consternation and immense sadness of the passing away of Ben Koufie, the former technical advisor of the Zimbabwe Football Association, former Warriors coach, former president of the Ghana Football Association and legendary coach," Chiyangwa told the association's website.

"Ben Koufie was a great coach with extraordinary coaching skills, "

"He worked tenaciously for Zimbabwean Football and the association is saddened by the loss of such an intelligent coach and coaching instructor."

The late Kuofie paid his dues for his country and African football nations like Zimbabwe and Botswana.
