Elmina Sharks have terminated the contract of head coach Mallam Yayaha with immediate effect.
The former New Edubiase United boss was appointed as head coach of Elmina Sharks in December, 2021 after the departure of Odartey Lamptey.
Sharks currently sit 11th position on Zone Two in the Championship, and has endured a poor run of form since the beginning of the Division One League season.
The club released a statement, thanking Yayaha for his efforts and wishing him well for the future, and saying they'll announce a new successor soon.
"Elmina Sharks have today terminated the appointment of head coach Mallam Yahaya," wrote Elmina Sharks in a club release.
"On behalf of everyone at Elmina Sharks, we would like to place on record our gratitude to Mallam Yahaya for all his efforts and commitment during his time with us.
"He will rightly have a place in our history and we wish him all the best in his future endeavors. There will be no further comment until a new coach is appointed."
