The former lnter Allies forward has completed his free transfer move to the Ghanaian lower-tier side until the next three football league campaigns

Ghana Division One League Zone 3B side Uncle T have signed Ghanaian striker Samuel Koney Mensah on a three-year deal, with the 26-year-old set to play an integral role for his new side in their quest to qualify to the top-flight this season.

The former lnter Allies and Phar Rangers attacker is joining the Prampram outfit on a free transfer this season following a stint with Slovakian side TJ Slovan Brvnište.

Right after appending his signature to the deal, the forward had this to say: " I feel great to sign for this great club (Uncle T FC)  having just returned from Slovakia. As a striker who is familiar with the terrain of the Ghana lower division contest, l am of no doubt that l will live up to expectations with my teammates as we seek to qualify for the Ghana Premier League next season."

Koney now becomes the second signing of Uncle T FC after announcing the capturing of fellow striker Emmanuel Akporh Adjei earlier today.

His signing will come as a morale booster for his new employers as they aim to secure qualification to the Ghana Premier League next term.

He started his playing career at La-based Colts club Obonu FC and later moved to Cedar Stars Academy FC ( lnter Allies youth side) where he played an integral role to their qualification to the Ghanaian top-flight in 2013.
