Division One side Vision FC has named former Hearts of Oak and Medeama assistant gaffer Hamza Mohammed Obeng as their new head coach.

Obeng, 30, put-pen-to-paper to a two-years contract and will be at the helm of affairs of the Zone-Three contenders who are currently lurking on 6th position of the Division One League after 15 rounds of matches - scooping 21 points.

This appointment will be Hamza's first lead coaching role as he served as Samuel Boadu's assistant in Medeama (2017-2021) and Hearts of Oak (2021-2022).

Obeng played a vital role as the Phobians clinched their first Premier League title in ten years during the 2020-21 season, and went ahead to help the club to retain the FA Cup title with a win over Bechem United in 2022.
