The Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) are in talks with financial institution Multi Credit Savings and Loans Limited to be the headline sponsor of this years edition of the President Cup, Kickgh.com can exclusively reveal.
The two biggest club in the country Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko will battle out for ceremonial match on July 1.
The management of the Financial institution and GHALCA are yet to reach with an agreement.
"Well is true we are in talks with them [Multi Credit] to sponsor this year's President Cup and we are yet to finalize the deal" a close source to GHALCA revealed to Kickgh.com
Multi Credit Savings and Loans Limited is owned by former Premiership side Kesseben FC bankroller and Kesseben FM owner Mr. Kwabena Kesse.
The President Cup is played annually to honour the sitting government and mark Ghana's republic day.
