Nsoatreman Football Club coach, Maxwell Konadu has stated that self-belief led him to ink the dotted lines for the 'Efiri Tete Amanaso'.

The former Asante Kotoko head coach in his post-match interview after leading Nsoatreman to clinch the 2024 MTN FA Cup by a 5-4 penalty shootout win over Bono rivals Bofoakwa Tano after extra time.

Konadu joined Nsoatreman before the start of the recently concluded 2023/2024 Ghana Premier League season and indicated that believing in his prowess to get the newly promoted side to be outstanding in the season motivated him to sign the contract.

"For sure, I knew that I could transform the team because I know what I have and when you believe in yourself, I think it’s the beginning of everything. The self-belief did a lot. It motivated me to sign the contract for Nsoatreman."

Nsoatreman will be Ghana's sole representative in next season's CAF Confederation Cup as a result of winning the FA Cup.
