Former CEO of Asante Kotoko, Nana Yaw Amponsah, has assumed the role of president at FC Petrocub Hîncesti, a top-tier club in Moldova.
This appointment comes as a result of a partnership between the Moldovan club and an undisclosed company, bringing not only potential financial gains but also introducing the accomplished football administrator to a leadership position within the club.
In a groundbreaking development for FC Petrocub, Nana Yaw Amponsah's appointment as president signifies a transformative era for the club, marking a significant milestone in its history. The news was officially communicated by FC Petrocub through their social media platforms.
"FC Petrocub signed a partnership agreement with an investment company from abroad. According to the agreement, Nana Yaw Amponsah becomes the president of the team."
Nana Yaw Amponsah parted ways with Asante Kotoko in the previous year, concluding his tenure that commenced in 2020.
During his time at Kotoko, he secured one Ghana Premier League title for the Porcupine warriors.
