Four players from Ghana Premier League outfit Medeama are set to embark on an international adventure as they have been selected to participate in the prestigious Surf Cup tournament in Tangier, Morocco.
The move is a result of the partnership between Medeama and the International Development Academy (IDA), which aims to develop and showcase the skills of the players at the international stage.
The talented quartet, comprising Kelvin Nkrumah, Richard Dwumah, David Frimpong Boison, and Stephen Borboryo, will represent Medeama in the 4-day competition, which will be held from August 1-4.
The players have already arrived in Tangier under the care of Medeama's welfare manager in charge of operations, John Cudjoe.
Medeama is confident that the tournament will provide invaluable exposure and development for their players. The club is looking forward to a stellar performance from their representatives, which will further demonstrate their commitment to nurturing young talent.
The Surf Cup International is a series of international soccer tournaments that brings together hundreds of top youth academies from around the globe.
The tournament provides a platform for young talents to compete and shine, making it an ideal opportunity for Medeama's players to showcase their skills on the international stage.
