Ghana U23 coach Ibrahim Tanko is reportedly considering giving an invitation to Sheffield United goalkeeper Jordan Amissah for the upcoming Africa U-23 Cup of Nations in Morocco.
The Black Meteors of Ghana will be participating in the tournament slated for next month in Morocco after defeating Algeria in a two-legged fixture in the final qualification round.
According to a report filed by Sportsworldghana, Coach Ibrahim Tanko and his technical have contacted the German-born Ghanaian goalkeeper for a possible call-up for the tourney.
Amissah, who is one loan at Burton Albion will return to parent club, Sheffield United at the end of the season. He has been impressive for the English One side.
Ghana has been paired in Group A against hosts Morocco, Congo Brazzaville and Guinea at the tournament scheduled for next month in the North African country.
The Black Meteors will hope to secure qualification to the Olympic Games next year having missed out since 2004.
