Reagy Baah Ofosu, the former Hamburg winger, has expressed his preference to represent Ghana rather than Germany on the international stage.

During an interview with Asempa FM, the 31-year-old Baah Ofosu, who was born in Hamburg, made it clear that given the choice between the two countries, he would choose to play for his motherland, Ghana.

Despite his recent stint with Saudi Arabian club Ohod Al-Medina in the second half of the 2022/23 season, Baah Ofosu remains devoted to the idea of wearing the Ghana national team jersey and representing the West African nation.

"If there is any opportunity to choose between Ghana and Germany, I would opt to represent my motherland," Fosu affirmed.

During his time with Ohod Al-Medina, Baah Ofosu showcased his skills by contributing one goal and three assists in the league. He impressively completed 134 dribbles in the Saudi second-tier league.

According to InStat data, Baah Ofosu boasted a 76% passing success rate and managed to register 11 shots on target out of 22 attempts.

With a football journey that has taken him to various clubs including FC Ingolstadt 04, Chemnitzer FC, Spartak Trnava, and Bursaspor, among others, Baah Ofosu has accumulated valuable experience throughout his career.
