Senior Media Officer at the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF), Ibrahim Sannie Daara is urging newly appointed Minister of Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams, to prioritise consultations in his decision-making processes with regard to business of sports.

Adams, who is currently waiting to be sworn into office by President John Mahama to begin work, was approved by the Appointments Committee of Parliament as Minister of Sports and Recreation.

With experience working with numerous ministers over a significant period of time passing, Daara underscored the necessity for Adams to seek advice from experienced hands like Mahama Ayariga.

Speaking to Sporty FM, Daara noted that this is the only way he will have the gumption in carrying out his duties in the ministry and discharge his duties smoothly as he believes in his competence.

"I will urge him to get close to Mahama Ayariga because he was super working with him as Sports Minister. After the scandal in Brazil (2014 World Cup), he worked closely with the GFA and other ministries and convinced them why they must help raise monies for the Black Stars.

"He was with the team during the AFCON qualifiers and in 2015, the team played in the AFCON finals. These are the people he must consult and I know he will be a success if he does that," he added.
