Ghana Football Association President, Kurt Edwin Simon Okraku, has urged the Black Stars to redeem themselves in the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Mali and Central African Republic.
Head coach Otto Addo after announcing his 26-man squad last Wednesday, resumed work on full time basis and has been supervising the team's training since they opened camp.
24 players are currently in camp with only left thus Alexander Djiku and Osman Bukari- who are expected to join the group by the close of the week.
Speaking with the team after their second training session yesterday, the Ghana FA boss has charged the senior men national team to secure better performances in the two matches to re-gain the trust of Ghanaians and also enhance their qualification chances.
"I believe we will go to Mali with all the confidence and quality that we have and put up a good performance that will give us the desired result."
"After that, we come back to our beloved Kumasi and, God willing, finish off the CAR game."
The four-time African champions will travel to Bamako on Tuesday, June 4, for the game against Mali in two days time, before they host Central African Republic on June 10.
