Ghana Football Association Capo Kurt Okraku has promised Mohammed Polo that they will send him to the world cup.
Ghana have qualified to the world cup finals in Qatar after conquering neighbours, Nigeria, in the play-offs earlier this year.
Ghana will face Uruguay, South Korea and Portugal in the group stage.
Ghanaian legend, Mohammed Ahmed 'Polo', recently launched his book, "Polo the Magnificent: The story of the Dribbling Magician"
Mohammed Polo is regarded as one of the greatest ever Ghanaian footballers to ever grace the turf.
Mohammed Polo featured for the Ghanaian national team for nearly two decades, winning the 1978 African Cup of Nations for the Black Stars.
He was part of the hallowed 'fearsome five' of Accra Hearts of Oak in the 70's, that made waves in Ghana and Africa, but failed to win the Champions league.
Kurt Okraku has revealed that Mohammed Polo will be sent to the world cup in Qatar later this year.
"Mohammed polo will be with us on the flight to Qatar which will be our token of appreciation. When you do your bit and sacrifice for our dear country, we will say thank you," he revealed.
