Ghana Football Association Vice President, Mark Addo has assured the Black Stars of the support of Ghanaians and has urged them to go in for nothing but all three points against Madagascar this weekend in the 2023 AFCON qualifiers.

The team opened camp last Monday and held their first training session on the same day but unfortunately missed two players; Gideon Mensah and Thomas Partey.

The Arsenal midfielder joined the team looking fully poised and ready in the next session but the French-based left back had to pull out of the game due to injury.

On the third day at training, Mark Addo was present at the Accra Sports Stadium to wish the team well and added they have all Ghanaians rallying behind them to go in for nothing but a win. He said;

"We are praying that we will get the results that we want and the whole nation is behind you. We are looking forward to this engagement and we are very hopeful and once again on behalf of the GFA president and management committee we wish you well."

The game is fixed for Sunday, June 18, 2023 in Antananarivo.
