Lawrence Ati-Zigi, the Ghanaian goalkeeper, is filled with enthusiasm in the Black Stars' camp as they prepare to face Madagascar in the qualifiers for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
He is one of the three goalkeepers selected by Ghana's head coach, Chris Hughton, for the upcoming AFCON qualifiers.
During a training session at the Accra Sports Stadium on June 14, Ati-Zigi showcased his skills, demonstrating that he is not only exceptional between the goalposts. Alongside Thomas Partey, Alidu Seidu, and Daniel Amartey, he impressed everyone with his remarkable ball-juggling abilities.
On Sunday, June 18, Lawrence Ati-Zigi is expected to assume the goalkeeper position for Ghana in the match against Madagascar.
He has established himself as the first-choice goalkeeper for the Black Stars since the 2022 FIFA World Cup, displaying his talent through numerous outstanding saves.
