The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has reportedly asked players at the Black Galaxies camp to renew their contracts with local clubs to avoid exclusion from the final squad list for the 2023 Championship of African Nations (CHAN).

The country's football governing body has urged the current players of the home based national team to extend contracts with their respective clubs.

Per the regulations of the tournament, players must be affiliated with clubs based in their native country to be eligible for the tournament which will be staged in Algeria next month.
