Former Ghana Football Association (GFA) boss, Dr Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe has advised Chris Hughton to stay in the country if he becomes the next Black Stars coach.
Hughton was close to the Black Stars coaching job, before Otto Addo got the nod after the exit of Milovan Rajevac in February.
Otto Addo led Ghana to the World Cup as the head coach, with Chris Hughton serving as the technical advisor.
Black Stars exited from the group stage after winning just a game, losing two of their three group matches.
Otto Addo stepped-down after the exit, although, he wouldn't even have continued as the head coach per the agreement reached before taking over the team.
Chris Hughton has been tipped to be appointed as the next head coach, if nothing happens.
Dr. Tamakloe has advised Chris Hughton to stay in Ghana if he's given the Black Stars job.
“If Chris Hughton is given the job, then he should come and stay in Ghana and form his local Black Stars to ensure that the nucleus of the team should come from them," he told Graphic Sports.
"He should be able to create and also train strikers for the Black Stars," he added.
