Ghanaian defender Issifu Samed has popped up on the radar of interested clubs across Europe and the Gulf Region in an anticipation for his potential signing in the summer.

The 26-year-old centre-back, who has spent six seasons in Spain, could be set for a move elsewhere next season after having spells with former La Liga outfit CD Leganés and lowly division club Extremadura UD in the Spanish football contests.

A source close to the dependable 1.84 metre tall lanky defender has affirmed to Kickgh.com that the 26-year-old versatile centre-half is likely to be snapped up by suitors in the next transfer window as he came close to sealing a move to the Gulf Region last term.

With regards to interested suitors from the Middle East, clubs from Bahrain, UAE and Saudi Pro League are believed to be in the frame for his services and a bidding war could erupt among them over his pursuit for the 2026-27 campaign. 

Samed is current on the books of Tercera Federación side CF Motril and has been stirring with his top performances in this current campaign.

Given his existing contract with CF Motril which is set to expire on June 30, 2026, the gangling rearguard could join up with any of his interested parties on a free transfer.
