The Ghana Esports Federation (GeSF) has officially announced the decision to register every Esports institution, organization or association in Ghana before the end of 2026.
The Ghana Esports Federation is committed to working with all Regional Associations, Esports stakeholders and video game enthusiasts, to ensure informational and accurate national data.
The Federation in a statement revealed that the initiative will inform policy development, identify growth opportunities, and support the establishment of regional esports hubs tailored to community needs.
According to GeSF, the Federation believes it has become important as regulators, stakeholders and enthusiasts of esports come together for the sake of the development of Ghana Esports.
Also, the exciting news to all Esports institutions, organizations or associations in Ghana is that the registration will be free as announced by the leadership of the Ghana Esports Federation.
In September 2023, the President of the Ghana Esports Federation, Igor Boumekpo earned a top role as a member of the organizing committee for the successful foundation laid for the birth of the Confederation of Electronic Sports Africa (CESA) at its first-ever General Assembly in Dakar, Senegal.
