The Ghana Football Association (GFA) have announced free entry for Ghana's pre-AFCON friendly against Namibia on Monday, January 8, 2024, in Kumasi.
The four-time African champions have been camping for days now ahead of the 2023 AFCON, and returned to the pitch yesterday after hitting the gym in day four, to put their bodies in shape and prepare themselves physically.
The game against Namibia will be a warm up friendly to test the strength of the team before the main tourney begins, with 26 out of the 27 players invited all present, with exception of Kudus Mohammed- who hasn't reported yet.
The Brave Warriors have also been in Ghana for the past weeks now for camping, Accra precisely, and played out a stalemate with Legon Cities FC in a friendly.
The game is slated for 20:00GMT at the Baba Yara Stadium tomorrow.
The Ghana FA have already communicated that, entry to the popular stand and center line for the game will be made free, as part of their quest to get the public troop to the stadium in numbers to rally behind the team.
Ghana are in Group B alongside Egypt, Cape Verde and Mozambique.
The 2023 Africa Cup of Nations will commence on Saturday, January 13, and Ghana will kickstart their campaign the next day against the Blue Sharks of Cape Verde in Abidjan.
