The Ghana Football Association has debunked rumours about the sacking of the Black Stars goalkeeper's trainer Richard Kingston.
After Chris Hughton was appointed as the new Black Stars head coach, reports emerged in the local media that the former Ghana international Richard Kingston has been axed from the technical team.
However, according to the Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association, Henry Asante Twum, there are no iota of truth in the rumours.
"We haven't made any changes in the technical team. Richard Kingston is still at post as the Black Stars goalkeeper's trainer", Henry Asante Twum insisted during the unveiling of Ghana's new coach Chris Hughton at the SG Mall in Kumasi.
The Black Stars of Ghana will face the Palancas Negras of Angola in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at the Baba Yara Sports stadium on Thursday evening.
