Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko have completed the signing of Nicholas Osei Bonsu on a free transfer in the ongoing transfer window.

The 21-year-old featured for Bibiani Goldstars during the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season where he made only three appearances — 75 minutes — and won man of the match award during the MTN FA Cup game against Sekondi Hasaacas.

Osei Bonsu joined Bibiani Goldstars on a one-year contract following the dissolution of second-tier outfit Phar Rangers

9:30pm — Prince Opoku Agyemang leaves Bibiani Goldstars for Duhok SC in Iraq

Bibiani Goldstars have transfered lanky striker Prince Opoku Agyemang to Iraqi top-flight league outfit Duhok SC for an undisclosed fee

Opoku Agyemang scored six goals in his 15 game outings for Bibiani Goldstars in his debut season.

3:34pm — Asamoah Gyan linked with Asante Kotoko move

The 36 year old last week on the BBC, stated emphatically clear that, he is yet to retire from football and is hoping to be included in the Black Stars squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup which will be staged in Qatar in November

Having said that, the ex- Sunderland striker is very much aware he isn't in the good shape to play at the moment hence has started an intensive training to get himself well gelled and ready for the pitch once again.

However, Gyan, 36, according to reports, has begun negotiations with Ghanaian champions Asante Kotoko, with a deal most likely to happen tonight in order to get to play actively to gain and keep match fitness for the global football tourney two months from now. 

With the window set to be shut down tonight, all clubs will be looking to make some additions to strengthen their team before the commencement of the 2022/23 football season.

12:36pm — Asante Kotoko sign Nicholas Mensah

Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko have completed the signing of Nicholas Mensah from lower-tier side Delsanco FC on the transfer deadline day.
 
Mensah signed a multi-year contract with the Porcupine Warriors after passing a mandatory medical examination.
 
The club's official statement reads “We are delighted to announce the signing of forward, Nicholas Mensah on a three year deal from division two side Delsanco FC”
 
11:35am — King Faisal sign Abednego Tetteh until 2024
 
King Faisal have beefed up their attacking options with the signing of Abednego Tetteh on a free transfer.
 
Tetteh has joined the Insha Allah boys after being unattached since last year.
 
10:50am — Hearts of Oak pushing for Stephen Owusu Banahene
 
Hearts of Oak are currently in talks with AshantiGold SC for the possible acquisition of the talented midfielder on a multi-year contract.
 
10:22am — Hearts of Oak acquires Prince Darmang
 
Hearts of Oak have completed the signing of former TP Mazembe midfielder, Prince Nana Kwesi Darmang in the ongoing transfer window.
 
The 24-year-old has joined the Capital based club on a three-year deal as a free agent after a fruitful negotiations.
 
Darmang last played for DR Congo side Don Bosco before making a return to the Ghana Premier League to join the MTN FA Cup champions.

The Porcupine Warriors have secured the signature of the budding talented full-back until the end of the 2025/26 season, Kickgh.com can exclusively confirm.
 
Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko have completed the signing of former West African Football Academy SC left-back John Tedeku on the transfer deadline day.
 
The 20-year-old left-back who has previously had a trial at Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg has signed a three-year contract with the Porcupine Warriors.
 
Tedeku is expected to be a direct replacement to Ibrahim Imoro who has left Kotoko for Sudanese giants Al Hilal Omdurman.
 
He had an incredible campaign in the Ghana Premier League last season, having made 28 appearances where he started 24 times.

Former AshantiGold SC midfielder Appiah McCarthy was reportedly joining Aduana Stars on a two-year deal but the deal has hit a snag

The Sharp-shooting forward has completed move to the Dormaa-based Premier League side on the transfer deadline day.
 
Torsutsey has joined Aduana Stars on a three-year deal from West African Football Academy (WAFA).
 
6:10am — Ronald Frimpong extends stay with Real Tamale United
 
Good news for Real Tamale United as their top scorer last season, Ronald Frimpong has signed a new contract extension which will keep him at the Aliu Mahama Stadium for another season.
 
The experience striker had a very decent season and attracted so much interest from series of clubs in the country notably local rivals Tamale City FC and Medeama SC.
 
The 30-year-old has been really sensational and consistent for the Pride of the Norths for the past two seasons and has really established himself as a top performer since his arrival in Tamale.
 
He was greatly involved in massive 18 goals at the end of the last campaign, having scored and assisted nine each with his last brace coming against Hearts of Oak in their final game of the season.

Highly-rated midfielder Umar Bashiru's supposed move to Asante Kotoko has been cancelled due to unknown reasons on the final day of the transfer window. 
 
The 25-year-old, right after the season was linked with a strong move to the Reds with speculations that, he's already agreed personal terms but the deal has reportedly been cancelled.
