Togbe Afede XIV, the Executive Board Chairman of Hearts of Oak, has provided insights into the investment made in constructing the club's secretariat, shedding light on the progress of the ongoing Pobiman Project, slated for completion by year-end.
During the 6th Annual General Meeting held on Thursday, Togbe Afede XIV disclosed that the project stands at an impressive 95% completion rate, with a total investment of GHS 9 million.
He elaborated on the transformation underway, stating, "The club’s old secretariat known as 'Phobia House' was dismantled in May 2022 to pave the way for a modern headquarters building."
Highlighting the significant investment poured into the project, he noted, "This structure is also about 95% complete as of the time of this report, with about GHS 9 million invested so far."
Togbe Afede XIV also revealed plans to utilize part of the new facility for leasing, aimed at generating additional revenue for the club.
The Ultra Modern Training Complex, upon completion, will feature a range of facilities including staff residences, senior housing units, a gym, training centers with pitches, laundry services, a swimming pool, locker rooms, toilet facilities, as well as a kitchen and dining hall.
With the club's commitment to modernizing its infrastructure, the new secretariat and training complex signify a significant step forward for Hearts of Oak, reflecting their dedication to excellence both on and off the field.
