Ghana U-17 national football team attacking midfielder Ernest Ofori is set to undergo trials with Allsvenskan clubs and could be snapped up by those suitors should he impressed at the end of his valuation, Kickgh.com has learned.

The 16-year-old, who is being groomed by Ghanaian talents honing outfit Great Somas Academy, could be set for a move to the Swedish football competitions for the 2026-27 campaign.

The ballplaying midfielder is on the right track of becoming a future prospect for the Ghana national football team, the Black Stars given his rapid transition from the national U15 to U17 level so far in his young international football career.

With the 2026 African U17 Cup of Nations on the horizon, Ernest would be an integral squad member for the Black Starlets team for the continental juvenile football event set to commence next month in Morocco.

Ghana have been paired alongside Senegal, South Africa and Algeria in Group D.
