FC Barcelona young attacker Abdul Aziz Issah made his first-ever appearance for the senior national team of Ghana against Trinidad and Tobago in the third-place game of the 2025 Unity Cup in London.

The 19-year-old was introduced into the game by Otto Addo in the 60th minute as a replacement for Lawrence Agyekum, who had netted the third goal for the Black Stars in this afternoon's game.

He was rewarded with a debut call-up to the Black Stars ahead of the Unity Cup games following his explosive performances at the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations where the Black Satellites reached the quarter-final stage.

The Black Stars of Ghana ended the 2025 Unity Cup tournament in London with a third-place medal after an emphatic 4-0 win over the Caribbean country at the Gtech Community Stadium.

The Black Stars got off to a very explosive start and opened the scoring account in just five minutes from kickoff courtesy captain Jordan Ayew who sent a strong hit from the edge of the box.

Razak Simpson doubled the lead six minutes later for Ghana with a towering and bullet header from a Jordan Ayew corner kick.

Ghana continue to run riots over their opponents after Belgian-based striker Mohammed Fuseini Gadafi scored just on the stroke of half-time from a great team build-up.

Eight minutes into the second half, Cercle Brugge midfielder Lawrence Agyekum registered his name on the score-sheet as well to register Ghana's fourth goal in the game by striking through the legs of goalkeeper Jabari Hillaire.
