Otto Addo, just took over the Black Stars for the second time, and despite failing to grind a win in his opening two matches, he is still positive and strongly believes his new style will still workout with time.

Ghana in the final international window of the ongoing season, failed to record a win in the two matches played against Uganda and Nigeria.

They suffered a 2-1 defeat against the Super Eagles last week before playing out a disappointing 2-2 draw with the Cranes just yesterday, all in Marrakech, Morocco.

Many a Ghanaian football faithful, after those matches firmly believe the team's new style and pattern of play isn't bad but they wouldn't be too hopeful either until they start seeing results coming along with it.

In a general interview on the two matches played, the Borussia Dortmund trainer admitted they were very poor in the last game and should have at least managed a win and added they could have done better.

However, he did indicate that, his introduction of passing football to the Black Stars definitely won't be that easy as most of the players will struggle with it at the start but he is very optimistic they will acclimize to it very soon.

"We didn't win a game. So this is a general summary. Even though we lost the first game but there were lots of positive things especially second half with ten men playing good football, well positioned against a strong Nigerian side who are very young."

"The second game was difficult for us and I know if you want to build something like ball possession, building up from the back, there will be more mistakes and we have to get over it.

"It was a good learning today, there were some good part and in all playing 2-2 against Uganda, we expect more even though lots of players were missing, we could have done better", he landed

The team will regroup in three months time to prepare for crunchy encounters against Mali and Central African Republic in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
