Former Ghana international Laryea Kingston has won his first title as head coach of Uganda's U17 national team after guiding them to victory in the CECAFA U17 Championship.
Kingston's side capped an impressive tournament with a title-winning performance, marking a major milestone in the Ghanaian coach's managerial career.
The triumph also secured Uganda's qualification for the 2027 U17 Africa Cup of Nations, with the young side booking their place at the continental tournament through their successful CECAFA campaign.
Since taking charge of the Uganda U17 team, Kingston has earned praise for his work in developing the country's young talents, and the CECAFA title represents an early reward for his efforts.
The former Black Stars winger will now turn his attention to preparing Uganda for the 2027 U17 AFCON, where they will aim to build on their regional success and compete against the continent's best youth teams.
Kingston's achievement adds another chapter to his football journey, this time from the dugout, as he continues to establish himself as one of Ghana's promising young coaches.
