Minister of State in charge of Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu believes that the country's sporting sector is in complete shambles.
According to the MP of the Abura Asebu-Kwamankese Constituency, there should be a critical demand for improvements, while asserting his belief in Kofi Adams to tackle the obstacles.
“As we speak, Ghana’s sporting sector is in complete disarray. Just days ago, a football fan lost his life under tragic circumstances at a league match, which led to the temporary suspension of the Ghana Premier League," Kwakye Ofosu said in Parliament.
Parliament approved the Appointment of Kofi Adams, preparing the way for him to be sworn into office by President John Dramani Mahama to begin work as Minister of Sports and Recreation in the new government.
On Tuesday night, a report of the Appointment Committee on the vetting of Kofi Adams was laid before Parliament and adopted by the House.
