Ghana Football Association President Kurt Okraku has charged the Black Starlets to stay united and fight for success ahead of the 2026 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

The Ghana Football Association president delivered the motivational message while accompanying the team to the Accra International Airport on Wednesday morning before their departure for the tournament.

Kurt Okraku praised the team’s response during their recent friendly matches against Ivory Coast, where they recovered from a first-leg defeat to record an emphatic win in the second encounter.

“I’m very happy that when you lost to Ivory Coast in your first game during your friendly matches, you were able to come back—not only to dominate but to outscore them in the second game,” he said.

The GFA boss urged the players to maintain that fighting spirit throughout the competition, reminding them never to give up in difficult moments.

“I read a lot of meaning into that, and I want all of you to keep that in your heads—that, it’s not over until it’s all over. When the chips are down, that’s when we need to hold each other together. So go out there and make Ghana proud,” he added.

Ghana have been drawn in Group D alongside Algeria, Senegal and South Africa for the tournament, which is scheduled to run from May 13 to June 2, 2026, in Rabat, Morocco.
