President of the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC), Ben Nunoo Mensah, is of the view that Ghanaians have every right to demand for the sacking of Black Stars coach, Otto Addo.

Otto Addo and his technical staff have come under heavy criticism for failing to qualify the team for the 2025 Afcon slated to come off in Morocco.

The Black Stars accrued just three points from six games in Group F of the Afcon qualifiers, which included Angola, Sudan, and Niger.

The poor performance in the qualifying round left Ghana bottom (4th) in the group standing with just three points.

However, speaking in an interview on Asempa FM, Ben Nunoo Mensah said someone has to take responsibility for Ghana's failure to annex qualification to the continental showpiece.

"Ghanaians have every right to call for the sack of the coach," he said.

"I believe that somebody must take responsibility for Black Stars' failure to qualify for the AFCON tournament. For failing to win a single game in the qualifiers and also failing to qualify for is a total embarrassment."
