Bayern Munich legend Samuel Osei Kuffour says Thomas Duah convinced him to continue playing football after he contemplated quitting the game.
Osei Kuffour, 45, won the Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal, UEFA Champions League in his almost two decade career.
The former U- 17 world Champion was part of the Black Stars team that played on the 2006 world cup in Germany.
Thomas Duah and Osei Kuffour played Juvenile football in Kumasi before both of them left the shores of Ghana for glittering careers in Europe.
Sammy Kuffour reveals that Thomas Duah convinced him to continue playing the game after life became tough for him.
"I needed money so it got to an extent that when my friends call me for a football match, I didn't go," he told Dan Kwaku Yeboah.
"God bless Thomas Duah because he was the only one who forced to convince me to play. He would sometimes pound fufu for my mother before I would be allowed to leave home else my mother won't allow me to go," he concluded.
