Head coach of Hearts of Oak Samuel Boadu has debunked rumours that the management of the club imposes players on him when it comes to recruitment.
In recent times reports have emerged that the top guns of the Phobians has total control of the transfer proceedings as they are fond of imposing players on the coach, however, Boadu insisted that he makes the final decision on who to buy or bring on board.
"In terms of recruitment, I have an input but players are not imposed on me. I did the recruitment this season. I'm in charge of the club and I am not under pressure at the club," Boadu stated in an interview on Asempa FM.
The Phobians lost the league title to their sworn-rivals Asante Kotoko, however, they beat Bechem United to win the MTN FA Cup last Sunday.
Boadu, 36, equalled the late Jones Attuquayefio’s record of winning back-to-back FA Cup titles at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
