Hasaacas Ladies head coach Raymond Fenny has expressed strong confidence ahead of Sunday’s crucial Women’s Premier League clash against Ampem Darkoa Ladies.
The crucial match at the Swedru Sports Stadium will decide which team represents Ghana in the CAF Women's Champions League WAFU B Qualifiers.
Fenny, who previously coached Faith Ladies, said he believes his side will come out on top in what is expected to be a competitive encounter.
“I think Ghanaians are going to see a very nice game. So I encourage all supporters and all Ghanaians to come on board. I am trusting God that by the end of the day we [Hasaacas] will have won,” he said.
Both teams have strong records in continental competitions and will be eager to return to the regional stage.
Ampem Darkoa are hoping to qualify again after appearing in back-to-back campaigns in the 2021/22 and 2022/23 seasons, while Hasaacas Ladies are aiming to make another statement after their previous appearances in the 2020/21 and 2023/24 seasons.
