Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak are gearing up for a potential showdown in the summer transfer market as they both eye a move for Great Olympics midfielder Emmanuel Antwi.

Despite being a target for Asante Kotoko in the January transfer window, Antwi remained with Great Olympics until the end of the season. Now, with his contract set to expire, both Kotoko and Hearts of Oak are keen on securing the services of the talented central midfielder.

Antwi, who will become a free agent at the end of the month, impressed with his performances for Great Olympics in the past season, scoring six goals and providing five assists in 26 matches. His standout displays have attracted interest from the traditional rivals.

While Antwi’s efforts were not enough to prevent Great Olympics from relegation, his individual performances have not gone unnoticed, with both Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak eager to add him to their squads for the upcoming season.
