Fans of Hearts of Oak have held top officials Vincent Sowah Odotei and Alhaji Braimah Moro at the Accra Sports Stadium following the club's exit from the CAF Confederation Cup last Sunday afternoon.
The 3-1 on aggregate loss to ASR Bamako of Mali in the preliminary round of the 2022/23 CAF Confederation Cup, sparked furore leaving most of the supporters in total anger due to some decisions they feel didn't help the club.
The supporters couldn't hide their emotions after the exit and wanted to attack their manager and board members present at the stadium, who ended up leaving with security protection.
The club's National Chapters Committee (NCC) Chairman, Herman Hesse in the course of the game, was captured in video fighting Board member, Vincent Odotei Sowah.
The fresh speculations coming in is that, the irate Phobians have threatened to get Alhaji Akambi and Odotei out of the club as they seek nothing but the best for the club.
Hearts of Oak haven't started the season well, having gone without a win in their opening three matches. They are now also out of the CAF Confederations Cup.
