Hearts of Oak shot-stopper Richard Attah has been dropped from the home-based national team final squad that are preparing for the upcoming CHAN qualifiers.

The 27 year old commenced the season on a higher note, and as usual commanded his goal as the number one goalie in the capital, playing in all their matches in the early stages of the season.

However, injury worries kept him on sidelines and even missed their last two matches of the season including the MTN FA Cup final against Bechem United.

Despite injuries and other setbacks, the stalwart still ended the campaign as the most capped goalkeeper in the Hearts of Oak set up, but has been excluded from the Black Galaxies squad with the reasons best known to the technical team.

The remaining three goalkeepers in camp are Iddrisu Abdulai, Stephen Kwaku and Asante Kotoko's Ibrahim Danlad.

Ghana will battle it out with Benin for CHAN spot in a double header later this month.
