The Capital based club have announced the decision to offload six senior senior players ahead of their 2022/23 season's campaign.
Ghana Premier League giants Accra Hearts of Oak have officially announced an immediate termination of the contracts of Kofi Kordzi and Frederick Ansah Botchway.
The duo will be leaving the club by mutual termination after being declared as surplus to requirements by the technical handlers of the one-time CAF Champions League winners.
Also, Hearts of Oak management has announced that the contracts Larry Sumaila, Patrick Razak, Manaf Umar and William Dankyi will not be renewed for sporting reasons.
The club's official statement reads “Accra Hearts of Oak has officially notified Kofi Kordzi and Ansah Botchway that they are surplus to requirement. Both parties are in the process to mutually terminate their contracts.”
“Meanwhile, the club has also informed Patrick Razak, William Dankyi, Larry Sumaila Ibrahim and Manaf Umar that their contracts will not be renewed.”
“We wish to thank them for their services during their stay with the club and wish them all the best in their future endeavours”
Hearts of Oak will be participating in the 2022/23 CAF Confederation Cup after defeating Bechem United to win the last season's FA Cup.
Hearts of Oak are currently busy on the transfer market aiming for strategic signings to augment their squad list for the 2022/23 season
