Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak returned to training earlier today at the Kpobiman training grounds ahead of their penultimate clash against sworn and eternal rivals Asante Kotoko in the maiden Democracy Cup game coming up.

The 'Phobians' were off for some weeks after narrowly escaping relegation in the just ended season with a precious 2-3 away win at Bechem United on the final day.

The main reason behind this game is to celebrate thirty years of the country's legislature which was been in existence since 1993 and will feature the country's two most glamours football clubs.

Hearts of Oak have already lost twice against the Porcupine Warriors in the just-finished campaign and have resumed training early in order to have themselves adequately prepared for their revenge, the coveted trophy and the bragging right.

Organisers have also arranged what will be an interesting and exciting curtain raiser to pave way for the main event and that will be between Members of Parliament and former Black Stars players.

The game is slated for Friday, July 5, at the Ohene Gyan Stadium in the capital, Accra.

It has also been confirmed that the winner of this game will have the opportunity to play against Major League Soccer side DC United in Washington, USA.
