Ghana Premier League newbies, Hohoe United are very close to naming coach Tijani Abdul Rahim Bashiru as their new head coach ahead of the 2025/26 football season
The ‘Muje Gabah’ lads will be playing in the Ghana Premier League for the first time next season having finished as champions of zone III of the 2024/25 Access Bank Division One League and are looking to becoming a mainstay club in the topflight.
As part of their preparations, the Hohoe-based club have contacted UEFA license B holder Tijani Abdul Rahim to lead them next season with negotiations already in advanced stage between both parties, pending official club announcement, per reports
Abdul Rahim Bashiru is a well-known name in the Ghanaian game having preciously served as an assistant coach for Great Olympics, Legon Cities FC and giants Hearts of Oak - where he subsequently earned the interim head coach role following the jettisoning of Dutch gaffer Martin Koopman last year.
