Ghana legend, Reverend Osei Kofi claims that he's the greatest Ghanaian Player of all-time (GOAT).

The World football governing body, FIFA, highlighted Osei Kofi when they celebrated Ghana's African dominance in the early part of 1960 on one of their Twitter handles, FIFA Museum.

Ghana won the African continental competition twice in a row, in 1963 and defended it 1965.

Osei Kofi, the wizard dribbler, was named as the best player of the 1965 African Cup of Nations(AFCON).

Osei Kofi scored three goals alongside Ben Acheampong and Eustache Manglé to win the top scorers award.

The 82-year-old scored seventeen goals in thirty-four games in his more than a decade long in the Black Stars jersey.

Osei Kofi insists that he's the GOAT of Ghana football.

"I am now the GOAT in Ghana now," he declared on Asanteman FM.

“I always feel proud being a Ghanaian, although I’m not sometimes being recognised.

“The late Pele was my idol during my playing days. The late CK Gyampi encouraged me to become a very good player,” he added.
