Black Stars gaffer, Chris Hughton has conceded defeat and has taken full responsibility for Ghana's early exit from the ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
The four-time African champions suffered another group stage elimination after painfully playing out a 2-2 draw against Mozambique in the final group game.
Jordan Ayew netted a brace all from the spot whiles Geny Cipriano and Renildo Mandava also scored to split the points.
Ghana after three matches, have two draws and lost only one, and finished on the third position with two points and have been eliminated from the competition.
Speaking after the game, the Irish tactician has taken full responsibility and has admitted his performance has been very poor since his taking up the role.
"I take responsibility for this Performance and admit my results with the Black Stars have not been good enough,” the Ghana coach said.
The Black Stars will resume into action against Mali in Bamako on June 5, 2024, in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
