Black Stars marksman, Kudus Mohammed after the team's eviction from the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations, has stated they lacked concentration at some point in the game and conceded another cheap goals and that's the reason they couldn't take away all three points.

Ghana needed a win to qualify but sadly gave away a two goal and conceded two at the death of the game to play out a 2-2 stalemate with Mozambique in their final group game.

Jordan Ayew netted a brace against the Mambas last night all from spot-kicks but his goals were cancelled out subsequently courtesy two late goals from Geny Cipriano and Renildo Mandava.

The draw means the four-time champions ended the campaign with just points from a defeat and two draws and finished third in Group B.

Reacting to the painful elimination, the West Ham United star, who ended the tourney with two goals and two MOTM awards, feels they made silly mistakes and were really abysmal in not being able to preserve their lead to full time.

"In games like this, it's just small margins, the little things. Keep your focus throughout the whole game. We gave away two cheap goals; against Egypt the same thing. We just lost our concentration in the last minute of the game.

"Today was an easy win for us. Just keep it like that till the end of the game. We were just too sloppy, two silly mistakes. This game was too easy," he said while wiping tears from his face.

The Black Stars players will return to their respective clubs and will regroup again to take Mali on June 5, in their third game of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
