Hearts of Oak goalkeeper, Benjamin Asare is very elated to be part of the senior national team and has expressed a profound gratitude to the almighty and all those that made this dream of his a reality
The 32-year-old has been included in the Black Stars squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers as part of the only three home-based players in the list after Kamaradini Mamudu and Razak Simpson.
The stalwart goalkeeper had the opportunity to train with the Black Stars for the first time yesterday at the Ohene Gyan Stadium and really had a great session.
Speaking afterwards, the Hearts of Oak captain disclosed how excited he is for this platform handed to him and is looking forward to cementing his spot in the team.

Benjamin Asare has been outstanding since joining the Rainbow Club and currently has an impressive 12 clean sheets in 19 matches.
The Black Stars are currently in second place in Group I with 9 points and will face Chad in match-day five this Friday, March 21.
