Asante Kotoko defender Ndongani Samba O’Neil has expressed a strong desire to remain with the club for the rest of his football career, according to the club’s Communications Director, Lawyer Sarfo Duku.
In an interview with Oyerepa FM, Sarfo Duku revealed that the Congolese international has communicated his deep affection for the Kumasi-based club and stated emphatically that he wants to spend the remainder of his playing days at Kotoko.
“Samba O’Neil is very happy here and has said he wants to stay at Kotoko for the rest of his career,” Duku shared during the interview.
Since joining the Porcupine Warriors in 2024 on a two-year contract, the 25-year-old has quickly established himself as one of the Ghana Premier League's standout defenders. Known for his composure, strength, and leadership at the back, O’Neil has become a key figure in Kotoko’s defensive setup.
He has made 27 league appearances so far this season and has contributed one assist, underlining his growing influence in the team.
