Golden Kick will pose a formidable challenge for Asante Kotoko as they battle for the FA Cup trophy in the final of the competition, the CEO of the second tier side Joseph Epton said on Wednesday.
Ephton's side defeated Attram De Visser Academy 3-1 Saturday at the TnA Stadium, to punch their ticket to the final.
“The motivation of the boys is to win the cup, make a name and history for themselves. What motivation is more than making history and writing your name in the books of Ghana football?" he told LUV FM.
“Kotoko is a good side. We respect them, we know they have a good coach and players but Golden Kick is always unique when we play against the best and the best teams do not get their rhythm when they play against us so this is what they should expect from us.
"We've already beaten Hearts – and Kotoko are on the same level, so we’re not scared."
Golden Kick knocked out Ghana Premier League club's Karela United and Hearts of Oak before pummelling Attram De Visser.
The final of the 2024/25 MTN FA Cup between Asante Kotoko and Golden Kick FC will come off on June 15 at the University of Ghana Stadium in Accra.
